Classes With Rabbi Jonah Layman:
Sunday Morning Talmud Class (on hiatus until the school year resumes) Newcomers are welcome to the continuation of the tractate that studies the Talmudic laws of "Lost and Found" with emphasis on their ethical implications. the text we study is an English translation of the Talmud. No prior Talmud study required. (No class when Religious School is not in session or when we have a quest speaker as part of the SMASH program listed on the next page.) Stonegate Elementary School
Friday Morning Torah Study: (Currently on hiatus- will start up again soon) Join Rabbi Jonah Layman for this continuing class. We study the Torah, in English, verse by verse and we explore the traditional and modern commentaries in English too. Our discussions usually veer off into theology, ritual and other subjects too. Newcomers are always welcome!
