Sisterhood

A Musical Women’s Seder: Celebrating Pesach Through Song & Dance, Featuring Sally Heckelman & Lisa Baydush – 3/29/20, 5:00 p.m. – Join the Shaare Tefila Sisterhood for our annual Women’s Seder. Take time to reflect on what the holiday means to you through song led by Sally and Lisa. More information can be found here, including the registration form. Registration deadline is March 23rd.

For many years now, the Sisterhood has offered scholarships of $300 for teens and other young adults who plan on going on an organized, sponsored trip to Israel. This year is no different. If there is a trip to Israel in your future through USY, B’Nai B’rith, Habonim, Young Judea, High School in Israel, a good-will mission or volunteer project, consider applying for this one-time scholarship. Trips through Birthright or other fully-funded trips will not be considered. The young adult’s parent must be a Shaare Tefila member and the mother must be a current paid-up member of the Sisterhood as of the date of the Paid-Up Membership Dinner. The deadline to apply is March 27th. The form to apply for this great opportunity is here. Please do not pass-up this important opportunity!
